As the internet becomes a larger part of your day, you should look at browsers other than the one your system comes with to make your experience easier and more fun.

Windows Browsers
Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer is developed and distributed by Microsoft. The most recent version is Internet Explorer 8. Internet Explorer is tightly integrated into the Windows Operating System, causing many security exports to warn against it as a secure browser, this and its high user base, and use of ActiveX.
Firefox
Firefox is an open source browser based on of the Gecko engine, currently Firefox 2 and Firefox 3 are supported by the organization. Many consider Firefox to be a more secure browser than Internet Explorer due to its open source nature and lower market penetration.
Google Chrome
Google Chrome is a web browser from Google based on the Webkit engine. It claims to be faster and more secure than other browsers currently available and has a growing following, despite lack of advanced features like plug-ins.
