Antivirus
From TSG Library of Knowledge
In this digital age with hackers creating viruses every day, it is extremely important to have a reliable and up-to-date antivirus application, along with antispyware and firewall applications. Though antivirus applications reduce the risk of getting a virus, your behavior while online is even more important. For more information on staying safe (besides antivirus applications), see Security Tips.
Note that while it is imperative to have an up-to-date program on your computer, it is highly recommend that you have only one installed. If you install more than one antivirus program, it can dramatically slow down your computer and potentially cause other problems. This restriction does not generally apply to antispyware applications, most of which can run side-by-side with others.
