Remote Desktop ends after login

Problem: As soon as you log into a Terminal Services session using Remote Desktop, Remote Desktop immediately closes or logs you off.
Solution: This is commonly causes by a problem with the video driver on the computer you're trying to connect to. Specifically, try disabling the nVidia Driver Service:
- The following directions are to be followed on the computer you're trying to connect to -- not the computer you're connecting from.
- Right-click on My Computer and choose Manage. Then, click on the Services on the left. (Alternatively, click Start and choose Run and then type services.msc and press Enter.)
- Find "nVidia Driver Service" on the list and double-click on it.
- Change the Startup Type to "Disabled".
- Click the "Stop" button.
- Click the "OK" button.
- Go back to your other computer and try to connect remotely again.
If that still doesn't work, try downloading the latest version of your video card driver.
